Join the official countdown to the 250th anniversary of the nation in 2026!  

We’re another year closer to Philly’s next BIG moment and you’re invited to celebrate our city’s unique role in this historic event.

See what’s in store for the 250th in Philadelphia with 250th-themed performances, Philadelphia’s Youth Poet Laureate, Oyewumi Oyeniyi, and the Philadelphia Ballet.

Celebrate organizations with milestone anniversaries in 2023 and 2024, the first public debut of the Declaration Station prototypes, and experience the magic of Philadelphia’s rich musical heritage with an unforgettable hour of entertainment by famous names and emerging artists, showcasing the music that shapes our City’s past, present, and future – produced and presented by the Philadelphia Music Heritage Council, a legacy project of PHILADELPHIA250.
